Apple iPhone 3G Reviews

What do the users think of the Apple iPhone?

We love the Apple iPhone, which has transformed the way we think about communications. And so we've set up this site to review the iPhone - all versions.  If you have any reviews please let us know at 3gmobilephones1@gmail.com

Wired Magazine (June 2009)  - Apple 3GS - Apple outsmarted the mobile world by releasing the touch-controlled iPhone in June 2007. In July the next year, it rocketed to faster network speeds with the iPhone 3G while creating a massive ecosystem of apps. Now, on June 19, Apple will reassert its dominance by shipping the iPhone 3GS, outfitted with the operating system upgrade iPhone 3.0.

PC World (June 2009)On the outside, the iPhone 3GS ($299 for 32GB, or $199 for 16GB, with a two-year AT&T contract, as of 6/22/09) looks and feels virtually identical to the existing iPhone 3G (now $99 for 8GB with a two-year AT&T contract). Yes, it's disappointing that Apple made no refinements in the external case. And yes, it's curious that the colors remain the same, black or white gloss (this from the company which made sure its audio players came in every color of the spectrum). But inside, the iPhone 3GS has been redesigned (CPU, memory, integrated compass, video recorder) in different locations, no less. And together with the iPhone OS 3.0 upgrade (which makes many compelling features available to existing iPhone customers), the iPhone 3GS stands tall.  It would be easy to dismiss the Apple iPhone 3GS as an inconsequential hardware upgrade. But to do so would underestimate how much, collectively, the phone's new features augment the iPhone experience. With the iPhone 3GS, Apple solidifies its leadership position in a crowded smartphone landscape.

CNET Asia (Jan 2010) -To be honest, the iPhone 3GS remains one of the most user-friendly smartphones in the market right now, so you should stick with it for the time being. Well, perhaps, until the next iPhone.
